Tried my hand at dubstep about 2 months ago and came up with this tune. Haven't got much use for it, so I thought I would just share it on youtube. Hope you like it. First Dubstep track, so it's a bit simple. Made it using Reason 5.0

A pretty intense abdominal workout for these guys... Sitting on the floor, gripping the drum between your legs and then pivotting your entire torso up and down while striking the drum... forget Billy's bootcamp - this is the real exercise routine for abs.

Big Taiko time :-) If you want to skip the ambient flute build up at the beginning and get straight to the drumming, jump to 2:53. I think the whole thing is best watched from the start though... I played an even larger Taiko yesterday briefly - about 2 metres across. You could feel it in your chest.

This one is a group performance using a variety of sized Taiko. At 4:45 there is a quiet flute section, behind which the taiko are played very quietly. The song being played on flute is "Amazing Grace" - accompanied by Japanese Taiko. Quite a bizarre combination.

A collection of professional Taiko performances. This one is a performance that is solo based - several of the members let loose and show off their Taiko drumming skills. The solos kick off in full swing at 8:20 if your'e impatient, but try watch it from the beginning or you miss the dynamics of the gradual buildup - very awe inspiring, you'll almost applaud yourself.

Location set 3 completed today. I focused on a local park that held the Taiko drumming events on the weekend. The park and nearby shrine had more than enough flowers to contribute to this clip. The sakura petals continue to fall, slowly stripping the tree of flowers.... another week and they will be bare for another year.
Chose some dub for this one...
