I will be selling these birds when they get a bit older, the Welsummers are from birds bred by Michael Hart of Ashbourne, Derbyshire. |

Video duration: 71 seconds The video shows a male and a female Cream Legbar at day old. The male is a paler almost blonde colour with a destinctive pale 'dot' on the head. The female is slightly darker with definate dark stripes running from the top of the head and along the body and also behind each eye. I hope this video is useful for anyone trying to sex their legbar chicks ^_^ |

She knows no fear, and despite her being half the size of my existing hens she has already challenged them on several occasions! I will have to keep her seperate until she is a little older and able to defend herself. |

My hybrid chooks are very persistent 'peckers', whilst the older breeds don't seem to have the same taste for them. In future I will probably not buy hybrids for this reason.
