Wanted to test the High Speed 30 - 240 fps feature. All the transitions from 30 fps to 240 fps and back are done in camera. Not bad for compact digital under $300.

Today was the first time to see the Dallas Wave between 2700 cfs and 1800 cfs. At this level, it reminded me of several of the features at Salida, as well as the 3rd feature at Dierks in Arkansas. Big, deep and friendly. This footage was shot around 2000 cfs.

I didn't get a lot of footage during our 2-day creek weekend with NOC, but I did capture a few of the drops and rapids. It was a spectacular weekend on two great rivers. We warmed up on the Nanty, then did a low-water run on the Cascades of the Nantahala and finally 9-mile stretch of the Cheoah River at around 1100 cfs.
