I've spent the last 2 evenings searching through Ebay's classic cars category and it's been a real eye opener... they're absolutely gorgeous - and highly sort after!
I found Rolls-Royce, Maseratti, Bugatti, Bentley, Alfa Romeo, Austin MG, Iso Grifo ... plus the Mini, Beatle etc.
One that particularly got my attention was an ex WO Bentley Gurney Nutting 1930s - 2 door body - pictured on the left here. It's situated only 15 miles from where I live and the owner/seller was asking £5000 for it - although there's not a lot there for 5k! It'll be a job to know where to start restoring.
The owner said he's also interested in having someone with the skills to help him restore it. I've opted in and offered my help.. for fabrication and welding.
You can read about Ettore Bugatti on wikipedia - the founder of Bugatti automobili in 1909. He designed and built some of the worlds most prestigious cars, airplane parts and railcars - quite a guy!
If you follow this link you can see one that was found in a old garage in Northeast England earlier this year and fetched £3m (!!) at auction in France: 1938-bugatti-type-57c-atalante-coupe
Visit Ebay motors and browse through the classic cars category. Type in 'restoration' or 'project' ...and get yourself a Roller!!!

One that's got me the most is a ex-W-O-Bentley-Gurney-nutting-1930s-2-door-body
It is only 15 miles from here and the owner/seller is asking for £5000 for it - there is hardly anything there to buy!! How could anyone restore it? Where would you start? The owner also says that he is also interested in having someone with the skills to help him restore it. So I opted in and offered my help..:-) (fabrication & welding).
